Lovibond manufactures precision instruments and testing solutions for water analysis and colour measurement, used across laboratories, industrial facilities, and field applications. We provide these solutions to ensure reliable performance, accurate testing, and consistent, standards-driven results.
Water Testing
Photometer with Digester
The Lovibond COD Setups allow highly sensitive and precise water testing with minimum effort. They measure the ST-COD concentration by photometric detection employing a linear relationship between absorbance and concentration. After adding the sample to a Lovibond COD tube test (LR, MR according to ISO 15705:2002), it is heated in the reactor for two hours at 150 C and then analysed in the photometer. The COD Setups comprise the photometer, 25 tube tests for each of the two lower measuring ranges, a reactor for sample digestion and a vial stand.
Multi parameter Photometer
The requirements of demanding pool operators are met at all times with the photometers PM 600 and PM 620. The devices are equipped with up to 34 test methods and a memory for up to 1000 data sets. The PM 630 offers a Bluetooth interface instead of infrared data transmission. Intuitive operation and a backlit display make this series particularly user-friendly.

Colour Measurement
Spectrophotometer
ICx is designed for laboratories that demand exceptional accuracy in colour measurement, especially at the low end of the Platinum Cobalt (Pt-Co), APHA, Hazen colour scale. Compact, precise, and intuitive to operate, the ICx ensures quick, repeatable results for assessing the colour and clarity of transparent liquids.
Spectrophotometer
The EComparator series advances colour measurement, enabling you to progress from Visual (subjective) to Electronic (objective) results. With the EComparator series, you can now view the colour difference with on-screen colour and on-screen numerical display.
Spectrophotometer
The PFXi series of spectrophotometric colorimeters introduces a unique concept in liquid colour control: RCMSi technology. You can benefit from the capability for remote calibration and servicing via the internet - saving the cost and time associated with servicing and guaranteeing compliance with standards. The PFXi range is supplied with a full range of colour scales for specific markets including, but not limited to, Petroleum, Edible Oils, Pharmaceuticals, Brewing and Honey. Users can upgrade scales remotely at any time. _Note:_ When dealing with materials such as fats and waxes whose temperature needs to be maintained at a constant temperature +10C above the "Cloud Point" of the material, the PFXi-880, -950 & -995 series should be considered. These are available with an additional critical feature, an optional integrated heater unit.
Spectrophotometer
The Lovibond Model Fx solves the temperature problems associated with consistently measuring the colour of edible oils and addresses the need for quickly delivering accurate results. Misreading from crystallisation can be eliminated with its ability to keep the oil at a constant temperature and report the temperature of the sample.
Colorimeter
The Comparator 2000+ is an easy-to-use, entry level colour measurement system that compares the colour of the sample directly against the colour of glass in a disc. All you need to do is rotate the disc to get the closest result to the scale.
Colorimeter
A series of single scale, 3-field instruments for visually determining the colour of samples by direct comparison with coloured glass filters.
Colorimeter
The AF710-3 is a visual instrument approved by the American Oil Chemists Society (AOCS) for colour grading of oils and fats according to AOCS Official Method Cc 13b-45, the Wesson Method.
Colorimeter
The Model F is a visual colorimeter designed to optimise the use of Lovibondglass filters in order to express colour in terms of LovibondRed, Yellow, Blue and Neutral. It is available in slightly varying formats to meet the requirements of different applications and the national and international standardising bodies which specify the instrument in their official methods for colour measurement.
